I carried my new bride over the threshold of our front door about 30 minutes ago. We have a couple hundred pictures from the honeymoon and a few from the wedding already. As I’m able to process them all, I’ll let you know where to see them.
This will be my final post as a free man, a bachelor, an unmarried man. It’s 1:30 a.m. at the moment and I should be sleeping, because I know that
tomorrow today will likely be the longest day of my life. However, it will also be the happiest day of my life. I’m marrying the love of my life, Bonnie. Soon, JustinandBonnie.com in it’s current form will be archived and the domain converted to something a little different. But I’ll save that for a later post.
Thanks to everyone for each part that they’ve played and for all the support. There is a very special handful of people, and you all know who you are, have been beyond amazing in everything they’ve done and helped us with. We are forever indebted to you all for making our special day, well, uh, special!
I should make mention that in the process of getting it back online, I upgraded it to the latest beta release of WordPress “delta” and things are slicker than ever!
Ladies and gentlemen, for all future wedding information, be sure to keep a check at…
Jim finally got the DNS issues resolved and the domain is now accessible. Enjoy the site, I’m planning on adding a message board at some point for bridesmaids mainly, but the rest of the wedding party (and the rest of the free world) is free to participate also.
I’ve had a rather productive past 48 hours. I’ve been a busy little bee on wantmoore.com mainly. You may have noticed the change in the banner on my site as well as the buttons look changing a bit. The font is now Verdana instead of Courier New. Seems to be much more pleasing on the eye. For the graphics work and font suggestion, I owe a thanks to JenX from the LG forums where I frequent occasionally. Just haven’t had much time lately to be of assistance there. Anyhow, JenX’s site’s are www.mp3.com.au/djjenx and carollspinney.netfirms.com. Check out her work.
Also, I’ve been working a bit in Photoshop myself on the graphics for a Wedding blog, which I’m not quite ready to uncover yet, as a new domain name is in the works for it. Just keep a check here as you will be the first to know. I’m pretty excited about the whole idea so as soon as I hear from my host, it’ll be operational.
And on a final note, I finally posted my next article to GetOffTheComputer.com today. It’s rather lengthy (3 pages in a word processing program) but covers in detail how to assemble a new computer from scratch. I’m in search of some ideas to write on in the Basics category now so if you have ANY computer question, no matter how simple, head over to GOTC and click contact or use my contact form. Either way, I’d love to hear from you.
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I’m so very excited to announce to you that…
I’M ENGAGED to the love of my life!
I proposed to Bonnie last night up on Beech Mountain and she accepted. I’m in a bit of a rush at the moment and we’re short on details at the moment, so I’ll update more later. Everyone just keep your calendars clear in the neighborhood of September 25th and October 2nd/9th. It will more than likely be one of those three dates.
On a more technical note, there will be a blog and/or message board for the wedding coming in the next couple of days. So, keep a check here and at Bonnie’s Blog for updates!
