The October 2005 pictures are now up. A majority of them are pictures of the house in various states of disarray as I spent most of the month of October refinishing our hardwood floors – which I will NEVER EVER do again. There is also some new ones of my super-adorable nephew and as usual, the pets as well. Enjoy!
There’s new pics online – July and August. Yeah, I’m a little behind, but if you pay any attention at all to the contents of the photos, you’ll completely understand. In those two months, we went to three different weddings, a short vacation, visited family, did lots of stuff around the house, had a national holiday, and even got to be there for the birth of our new nephew. September hasn’t been any slower, but I promise to be faster with getting this month’s pictures online. Java went swimming for the first time this weekend and it was so much fun and I got some great snapshots.
Anyhow – you can see all the photos by clicking the link above for “Pics” or using these direct links:
OK WP developers and designers – what’s the best way available to do image headlines for my post titles? I’ve tried two or three plugins so far with no luck and I really don’t want to have to download the Flash MX trial to use the sIFR method.
I took advantage of an extremely cool offer from Dreamhost and regsitered wantmoore.org. I don’t really know why, but I did. It’s a pretty snazzy deal – less than $10 got the domain registration and hosting for a year with some pretty outstanding quotas. I have no intentions of using the hosting for anything other than mirroring files if I need to, or maybe as a remote backup spot. But, anyhow, you can now access this site via wantmoore.com, wantmoore.net, and wantmoore.org – just pick your favorite three letters!
If you’re reading this, your DNS has been updated and you’re now seeing wantmoore.com from it’s new hosting home. I’ve got plenty more details about this to come, so stay tuned…
The Random June Photos are now online. And consider this my promise to get some Russia photos uploaded by the end of the week. I had about 300 pictures of my own and one of our team members made a “compilation disc” where he took all of our memory cards and combined them for us, so I now have over 750 pictures of Moscow to pick from.
Considering how popular Podz is, I’m sure I’m getting quite a few visitors right now thanks to this post. Welcome everyone, I hope you’ll pull up a nice cozy chair and stick around for a while. And congrats to Podz on his first shell script/cron job.
