The SharePoint training is going pretty well. The first day was enough to cause me to want to go ahead and fly on home, but it’s improved a lot since then. The hands-on labs and seeing how things work on the front-end has made the back-end concepts a lot easier to grasp on to.
As you can see from these pics, the after-hours items have been a load of fun also. Several of us went back to Jason Lee’s house tonight to watch Seinfield’s “I’m Telling You for the Last Time” DVD and wow – did we ever laugh. I’d seen bits a pieces before, but never seen most of it. Good times. As you can see, we were all equipped with our laptops again. I guess it was too taboo to talk during the movie, so we chatted on IRC instead.
I just finished uploading another 90 or so photos to the SharePoint Training set I created on Flickr. Some were taken yesterday, but the majority were taken during our tour of the Northwoods facilities this afternoon. I’ve got a bunch that I took inside their new data center also, but I have to wait to post them. Trust me, it’s worth the wait.
