The Mike Huckabee campaign has been doing what they’re calling “Vertical Day” today, and there’s been some great stuff posted. It’s really neat to me to see politicians embracing the Internet and all the new forms of media that have become so popular recently. One article in particular has perked my attention: Our Faith Makes Us.
Recently, out on the campaign trail, a voter asked if my personal faith informed my decisions. My answer was simple, just as it always has been: my faith is my life – it defines me. My faith doesn’t influence my decisions, it drives them.
Mike’s strong-rooted faith has been a rather large factor in why I’ve decided to support him, and that quote really sums it up well. I feel like his campaign is really gaining steam, so much so that I wouldn’t call him a “longshot candidate” anymore. I think the odds are definitely stacked against him, but he apparently does have some very talented folks working for him.
