Dilbert on Legacy Machines

Friday, December 8th Justin 2 Comments

Today’s Dilbert strip is too funny.

Dilbert for 2006-12-08

I swear I feel like that with our AS/400 system sometimes.

    Goodness…

Everyones always Dawgin’ the 400. One of the few machines I know of that actually runs just about every other operating system. OH… and doesn’t have to be Re-Booted. The Virtualization with the new i5/OS and i5 hardware still has me scratching my head and I migrate and install these bad boys.

Oh yeah, it’s a rock-solid machine. We’re running a A250 model right now, but we’re actually about to upgrade to a i5-520 Express model soon if all goes as planned. My editorial remark is mainly due to the nature of the software we run on the machine which isn’t always as intuitive as I would think it should be.
