In just eight months, Automattic’s Akismet plugin has pretty much eliminated my spam problem all together.

Akismet has caught 15,082 spam for you since you first installed it.

I first installed it near the end of October last year and it’s just been doing a fantastic job. For those of you keeping score at home, that’s 4,881 since I last mentioned it back in February. If you do the math, that averages out to roughly 57 spam comments per day that I don’t have to worry about. Thanks again to Matt and the Automattic team.
