You may have heard by now that the new MacBooks have a motion sensor inside them to help sense when the notebook is moving. This is useful say, if you knock your laptop off your desk: the motion sensor detects the drop and quickly shuts down the hard drive in order to prevent data loss. Well, some Mac fanatics have gone and made this motion sensor even more useful on a daily basis.
My almost one-year old Thinkpad has a motion sensor, so why hasn’t some uber-Linux geek worked this out for us already? Any takers?
