Hot on the tail of my rant last week, I’ve found another case where someone needs to put their money where their mouth is. Rick Groen of the The Globe and Mail was recently interviewing Gwyneth Paltrow and she was pretty keyed up and wanted to talk about an article that was ran previously ran in The Globe and Mail about author Paul William Roberts. I didn’t sign up, so I don’t know what all the previous article had to say, but Gwyneth was interested and had this to say when Groen asked her how she felt about it:
“I totally agreed with it. I feel like we’re really in trouble. I just had a baby and thought, ‘I don’t want to live there.’ Bush’s anti-environment, pro-war policies are a dis …”
Well, Gywneth, back your bags and move on! And don’t bother coming back to L.A. to work either because this country which is “in trouble” could care less about you and your movies anymore. I’m really starting to think we need some sort of mechanism in place in our government to revoke citizenship for stupid stuff like this.

I see people’s eyes glaze over sometimes when I talk about elitism in Hollywood and on the far left. You can listen to the arguments these people make, and almost always see that they are pulling against the United States. The left seems to want us to fail in Iraq. With each even minor setback in Iraq, the leftist media seems to show it off proudly for the world to see.
Hollywood is worse because people in Hollywood are stupid. They are nothing. They pretend to be people they aren’t, but we glorify them. They make exorbitant amounts of money, and then set themselves above us by the things they do and say. This country MADE Paltrow, Robbins, Sarandon, Streisand, Penn, Affleck, Clooney, Cher, the Dixie Chicks, Garafalo, Sheen, Roberts (Julia), etc., ad infinitum, just to name a few. They seem to hate this country, and in return, this country seems to be turning our collective backs on these ungrateful people.
Hollywood box office money has decline for something like 60 weeks in a row now, with this Summer being the worst in anywhere recent memory (AND Star Wars Episode III came out, too). The least I can do is blog about it, and not pay $10 to go see one of their movies.
This site is a peach for anyone who detests these people. http://www.celiberal.com/
