more reason to hate verizon

Looks like there is going to be equipment swapping in order for me to get the new phone from Verizon after all. Apparently, the account did NOT become eligible for the “new every two” on 6/23 as was previously stated from a Verizon Customer Service Rep. Now they’re saying when I upgraded Bonnie’s phone back at Christmas, that started the two-year counter all over again, even though I paid full price for the phone I got her and didn’t take any promotional discounts. I’ve always been pleased with Verizon’s coverage and NOT IMPRESSED with their customer service – this just adds. I’m quite irate and if I was a rich man, I’d definitely drop the $350. buy out of my contract, and switch to some other company, even if their coverage isn’t spectacular just because I’m so miffed at VZW. I’ve been a customer for more than FIVE YEARS and this is the kind of crap they continually dish out. Does anyone have ANY contacts at Verizon that would actually care to LISTEN to a REAL CUSTOMER?
