babbling

For some odd reason, I felt the urge to select Win2k from my LILO options a few minutes ago when I booted my laptop. I haven’t booted it in a while, so it was good to get my IMAP mail folders all synced up before they got *too* far behind.

Anywho, I’ve started using Drafts in WordPress more and more lately. For example, if I come up with an idea of something I want to blog about, I’ll go and stick the title and the first sentence or two into drafts. I’ve done this more in my posting space over at GOTC than here, but currently there are two items waiting to be blogged about at my convenience. Maybe if I get really lazy I’ll just post the titles and let you write the entry for me in my comments. Muhahaha!

Life is good though. Java is growing everyday and its so much that I swear we can tell a difference from when we go to bed and when we wake up. We finally got a cage and she is responding really well to crate training. We’ve even caught her sleeping in there when it’s not bed time. When we brought her home after Christmas, she couldn’t even climb up the 10-inch step to our front door, but now she can make the foot-and-a-half leap up on our living room furniture. She really is a sweet, super-smart puppy though. We’re happy parents over here in the Moore household.

And speaking of children, in case you missed this over on Bonnie’s blog, we’re expecting to be Uncle Justin and Aunt Bonnie this year! Bonnie’s oldest sister (aka my sister-in-law) Erin and her husband Mike are expecting their first child in August, so we’re all really excited about that.

Well, I probably have a ton of other stuff I could update you about, but I’ve really got to get to work on a project that I have a meeting about tomorrow night – I’m waaaay behind schedule on it. Can anyone recommend a VERY lightweight message board script (PHP/mySQL) that I can twist pretty hard to create a classified-ad listing type thing. Let me know!
