Now that the holidays have come and gone, we’re back in the swing of using our Netflix service in the Moore household. Last weekend, we watched Walking Tall which stars The Rock and Johnny Knoxville. The flick was a good bit shorter than I had anticipated, and due to that, they had to leave out some good details that could’ve made me get much more into the plot and attached to the characters of the film. I suppose it wasn’t meant to be that sort of movie, more of just an adrenaline showing, shoot-em up type idea, which it definitely succeeds at.
Just the other night, thanks to Dave, we watched Napoleon Dynamite. I don’t want to waste much of my time writing about this movie or any of yours while you have to read about it. Just take my advice and resist any urge you may get to watch this movie. It’s one of the movies like Dumb & Dumber, except dumber and not funny. It did have it’s moments, but not enough of them to make me feel like it was worth my time to watch it.
Last night, we popped in one of Disney’s most recent animated flims, Home on the Range. It was a nice change of pace from the stuff we usually watch, but I felt similar towards it as I did towards Walking Tall – a little too short. All in all, I definitely enjoyed the movie and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a good chuckle.
