css galore

So, I have this “client” who’s name I’ll not release to preserve their pride who occasionally calls on me to do some freelance web design. It’s usually when the project requires more programming than they are comfortable with or even more specifically – when it’s WordPress related. This client is a relentless tables-style web developer, using them anywhere and everywhere to get things to position properly. I’ve gotten used to seeing it and I usually end up cleaning up the code and making things sit nicely with CSS instead. I’m convinced that they’ll eventually learn by my example, but if not, maybe I’ll end up sending them a copy of Zeldman’s Designing With Web Standards, which I hear is excellent reading. I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on it myself. (hint hint dear readers)
