I almost forgot to mention this. My desire for a cross-platform FTP client has been solved. My requirements were that it be teeny tiny on resources (since I’m fairly comfortable using the CLI anyway), store server settings for various accounts, and support automatic switching between BINARY and ASCII modes. fireFTP is an extension for Mozilla Firefox that works on Linux and Windows. I’ve been using it on my Windows PC at work and on the lizard powered laptop for about a week now and love it. For all you fans of the old 16-bit, barely even considered a GUI FTP client version of WS_FTP, you’re gonna LOVE this extension baby.
